Somali Deputy Minister Visits Minnesota, Engages Diaspora Ahead of Global Tourism Summit

Minnesota, USA – Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Cadaala, along with a delegation, visited the state of Minnesota. The delegation was warmly received by members of the Somali diaspora in the United States.

In the coming days, Deputy Minister Al-Cadaala and his team will travel to Miami, Florida, to participate in the annual Global Tourism Summit, a major international event bringing together leaders and experts from countries heavily reliant on tourism.

During his visit, the Minister expressed gratitude to the Somali community for their warm welcome and support. He also announced plans to hold meetings with the diaspora to update them on the overall situation in Somalia, including progress made by the Somali government in security, economy, politics, and social development, emphasizing the vital role the diaspora can play in supporting their home country.
