 Strengthening women’s voices in the media is central to an informed, democratic Somalia – @UNTMIS_ recently supported @SWJOSomalia in holding Advanced Leadership and Media Management workshops in Baidoa and Belet Weyne, which trained 52 women journalists on gender-sensitive leadership, media operations, ethics, and crisis reporting.
