The Tragedy in El Fasher: RSF Atrocities and the Shadow of UAE Support
The world is witnessing a human tragedy in El Fasher, Darfur, Sudan. After the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) seized control of the city, shocking reports emerged of targeted killings, clashes, and massacres against civilians, including women and children. International human rights organizations have confirmed that these actions amount to ethnic cleansing, as RSF systematically targets non-Arab communities in the region.
Even more alarming are allegations that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been a key financial and military supporter of RSF. While Abu Dhabi denies these claims, multiple international reports and intelligence sources indicate that arms shipments may have passed through neighboring countries to supply RSF. If true, this implicates the UAE in fueling the violence and humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Sudan, making it one of the most severe human rights crises in the world today.
The people of Darfur deserve justice and international accountability — silence is complicity.
