Trump Rejects Israel’s Military Plan Against Hamas Amid Rising Tensions

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly rejected a proposed Israeli military plan aimed at resuming operations against Hamas in Gaza, following the discovery of two deceased Israeli hostages.

Israel’s Defense Minister Yisrael Katz ordered the army to prepare a “comprehensive plan” to crush Hamas if the ceasefire collapses. The move came after Israel received the coffins of two hostages through the Red Cross, transferred to Israeli forces and the Shin Bet inside Gaza.

The bodies will be examined at Israel’s National Forensic Institute before being handed over to their families for burial.

Katz warned on Wednesday that Israel will resume fighting if Hamas fails to comply with ceasefire terms. Hamas, however, claimed that retrieving additional bodies would require “special equipment.”

Meanwhile, Donald Trump said on Wednesday there is “no reason for U.S. troops to intervene in Gaza,” emphasizing that Hamas is already searching for the bodies of the deceased hostages.

> “Some of the bodies have been buried for a long time; others are under the rubble,” Trump added.

“We want Hamas to disarm, and they have agreed to do so. If not, we will deal with it,” he warned.

Tensions continue to rise as both sides exchange threats, with Trump signaling a diplomatic restraint while Israel pushes for renewed military action in Gaza.
